For more than 135 years, we have served children and families in need. What began as an orphanage in Summerfield, Alabama, has grown into a multi-state ministry serving children across Alabama and Northwest Florida. Guided by faith and supported by churches, community partners and state agencies, we provide safe homes, compassionate care and meaningful support for children in foster care and families facing hardship.
As followers of Christ, our mission is rooted in compassion and a calling to care for vulnerable children. Many of the children we serve have experienced neglect, abuse or abandonment, and we meet them where they are with love, structure and support. Through residential care, foster care, family preservation and school readiness programs, we help children heal, grow and build stronger futures while working to break cycles of instability for generations to come.
